FAQs:

Can I nominate myself?

Yes. We recognize leaders may not always have the advocates or platforms they need to be recognized for their work. We encourage self-nominators to use the portal to highlight their accomplishments.

Can I nominate someone for multiple award categories?

No. Please review the award criteria carefully before submitting a nomination and select the award category that most accurately reflects the nominees accomplishments. Each nominee will only be considered for one award category. If you have a question about what award category you should select, please email katherine.dreher@brightpromises.org

If I am nominating someone, do I keep it confidential or can I let them know?

We ask that you please keep it confidential. We aim to celebrate those that are selected.

Can I nominate more than one person?

Yes. We ask that you consider nominating only those you have direct experience working with or have extensive knowledge of their work.

Can I nominate someone who works at the same organization as I do?

Yes. Please share insights that will strengthen the nomination. This is, however, not a way to fundraise for affiliated organizations. The purpose of this award is to recognize individual leaders.
