Letter from the Executive Director: Responding to COVID-19

Dear Partners, Supporters, Family and Friends,

Even though we can not be together right now, we are thinking of each and every one of you and wishing you health and safety.‍

‍At Bright Promises Foundation, we are dedicated to remaining adaptive and responsive to the most pressing needs of low-income children and their families. The COVID-19 outbreak places low-income children and their families at unprecedented risk. While we do not know what the coming weeks and months hold, we know that children and families across Greater Metropolitan Chicago will need our help and support more than ever.

To ensure that basic needs of Chicago children and their families are met during this time of crisis, we are launching the Bright Promises COVID-19 Response Fund. This fast-action response fund will support the immediate needs of low-income families while also providing a lifeline to the agencies serving low-income families to ensure that the organizations and infrastructure necessary for recovery remain intact.

We hope that you will consider a donation to ensure low-income children and their families receive the help they need during these uncertain and complex times.
