Our research has revealed that funders are often unaware of what is actually happening at the point of service for disadvantaged children. They tend to try to fund what they think is needed, rather than that which is actually needed. This results in ineffective funding and a distracts service providers from optimally serving the children.
Bright Promises Foundation conducts roundtables every four years of industry experts at the foundation, agency and center levels. The insights learned ensure the relevancy and importance of the need upon which the Bright Promises Foundation focuses, and the correct design of the programs deployed to meet these needs.
